Guides

Field guides for chauffeured travel.

Practical, no-nonsense field guides to booking flat-rate, flight-tracked chauffeured travel across Silicon Valley, the Peninsula, and every Bay Area airport — written for executives, executive assistants, and traveling families who want a clear answer before they book.

Chauffeured travel in the Bay Area is not one product. A 5 AM SFO departure from Palo Alto, a flight-tracked SJC arrival into Cupertino, an OAK pickup after a redeye, and a Sprinter roadshow from Sand Hill Road to three offices in a morning all use very different playbooks. These field guides break each one down — drive times, terminal logistics, vehicle selection, wait-time rules, and how corporate accounts change the workflow — so you can book the right service the first time.

Every guide on this page is written around the same operating standard: flat rates locked at booking, real-time flight tracking, complimentary curbside or meet-and-greet pickup, CPUC-licensed TCP charter authority, and late-model Lincoln Aviator, Chevrolet Suburban LT, and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicles. If a guide does not answer a question, dispatch is staffed 24/7 and can walk you through it in a two-minute call.

Curbside & meet-and-greet

Every guide starts here: a flight-tracked chauffeur already curbside when you land, luggage handled, and a flat rate that was locked the moment you booked.

How to pick the right guide

Start with the airport

SFO for international and long-haul domestic, SJC for South Bay convenience, OAK for East Bay and Tri-Valley. Each airport guide covers terminal layout, curbside pickup rules, and meet-and-greet options.

Then check drive times

Every guide lists typical outside-peak drive times from the cities it serves. We add a rush-hour buffer automatically for 7–10 AM and 4–7 PM weekday pickups so you're never late.

Match the vehicle to the trip

Lincoln Aviator for 1–3 passengers, Chevrolet Suburban LT for up to 6 with luggage, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter for groups of 6–14. Guides recommend the right vehicle for each scenario.

What every guide covers

Each field guide walks through the full arc of a chauffeured trip: how flat rates are calculated and locked at booking, how flight tracking releases the chauffeur based on live status, where curbside pickup happens at each terminal, and when meet-and-greet inside baggage claim is the better call. Guides also cover private aviation transfers at Signature Flight Support and Atlantic Aviation FBOs, planeside pickup rules, and how to coordinate multi-leg itineraries across two or three airports in a single day.

Corporate travelers get a dedicated section on billed accounts, VIP traveler profiles, and consolidated monthly invoicing. Families get car-seat availability, wait-time rules for international customs, and multi-child cabin layouts in the Suburban and Sprinter. Wedding and event planners get group staging, timing buffers, and how to handle late-night returns.

Pricing and instant-quote questions

How do I get an instant price for a one-way transfer?

Use the instant price widget on this page or our booking page: enter your pickup address, drop-off address, date, time, and passenger count, and you will see a flat all-in quote in seconds. Point-to-point and city-to-city one-way transfers are priced as flat rates, so no hourly minimum applies.

What are your published hourly rates?

Luxury Sedan (up to 3 passengers) is $130 per hour, Chevrolet Suburban LT SUV (up to 6) is $150 per hour, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter for up to 6 is $175 per hour, Sprinter for 7 to 10 passengers is $200 per hour, and Sprinter for 11 to 14 passengers is $225 per hour. Every hourly as-directed booking carries a five-hour minimum.

When should I book hourly instead of a one-way transfer?

Book hourly as-directed when the chauffeur stays with you: multi-stop roadshows, wine tours, wedding days, event shuttles, or any itinerary with waiting between stops. Book a one-way flat rate when you need a single A-to-B trip such as an airport transfer or a city-to-city drive.

Is the quoted price all-inclusive?

Yes. Your quote includes the vehicle, the chauffeur, fuel, and standard wait time. Tolls, airport fees, parking, and gratuity are shown up front before you confirm, so the number you approve is the number you pay. There is no surge pricing.

Can I get a quote by text or WhatsApp?

Yes. Text or WhatsApp +1 (408) 394-3575 with your pickup, drop-off, date, and passenger count and dispatch will send a written flat quote. You can also call our 24/7 dispatch line at +1 (408) 461-8899.

Do you charge extra for airport pickups or flight delays?

Airport pickups include flight tracking and complimentary wait time — 60 minutes for domestic arrivals and 90 minutes for international. Airport access fees and parking are itemized in your quote. Delays inside the complimentary window are never billed as extra time.

How do corporate accounts and monthly billing work?

Corporate accounts receive consolidated monthly invoicing, cost-center tagging, traveler profiles, and the same published rates with no booking fees. Ask dispatch to open an account and we will set up billing before your first reservation.

What is your cancellation policy?

Sedan and SUV reservations can be cancelled without charge up to 4 hours before pickup. Sprinter and group vehicles require 24 hours' notice. Cancellations inside those windows are billed at the minimum applicable rate.

What Bay Area travelers say

Verified Google reviews from executives, families, and visitors who booked the services covered in these guides.

We rarely leave public Google reviews, but Abdul absolutely deserves the exception. He is hands down the best driver we've ever had in San Francisco (or even across the world)! Every ride with him is flawless: always on time, impeccably professional, and genuinely polite. If you're looking for reliable, top-notch transportation with a human touch, Abdul is your person. We will book him every time we're in SF.
